Activities Manager

The Activities Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life and well-being of residents across all levels of care within our senior living community. Reporting to the Executive Director, this multifaceted position involves planning, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of activities, outings, and events that cater to the interests and needs of our residents. Additionally, the role includes partnering with the DON Well-Being Manager by ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and certifications.

Key responsibilities include but aren't limited to: 

• Schedules, plans, and organizes both internal and external events, overseeing room reservations, catering, setup, and technical requirements.

• Oversees and supports volunteers for all areas of living, ensuring effective utilization of volunteer resources. Responsible for volunteer recruitment efforts. 

• Provides support to residents and family members on an on-going basis.
