AI Tech Lead Manager

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

This job is based in Sunnyvale, CA.

Topicality AI is at the heart of LinkedIn’s Knowledge Marketplace making professional knowledge approachable and relevant for every member through unconnected content recommendation. We help professionals discover high-quality insights beyond their immediate network and creators build lasting professional influence.

Our mission is simple but ambitious: bring high-quality knowledge content to the right members at the right moment—at Feed scale.

As part of the Topicality AI team, you will work end to end across the content recommendation lifecycle:

• Understand and model content quality with agentic LLMs guided by human feedback

• Match content to members by revolutionizing retrieval and ranking systems with state-of-the-art generative models

• Decide where and when content appears across LinkedIn’s Feed and surfaces to maximize member value

What makes this team unique is ownership. We do both innovative research and production engineering—taking ideas from early product intuition all the way through modeling, production deployment, and live member impact. You’ll see your work ship quickly, receive real-time member feedback, and do research that directly influences how millions of people’s Feed experiences are shaped every day.

Join us as we revolutionize unconnected content discovery and distribution at LinkedIn!
