Sr. Product Designer

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

This role will be based in Sunnyvale, San Francisco or New York.

The workforce is evolving at a scale and pace unseen since the Industrial Revolution, and LinkedIn Search is uniquely positioned to help. Join us as we transform LinkedIn from a traditional jobs and people lookup tool into an indispensable, AI-powered partner that connects 1B+ global users to economic opportunity.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape the future of the LinkedIn member experience. Operating at the intersection of technical expertise and human-centered design, you will lead zero-to-one initiatives within a mature global platform, turning ambitious AI capabilities into intuitive, beautiful, and transformative products.

Responsibilities:

• Partner hand-in-hand with Engineering, Product, and other cross-functional partners to navigate complex member problems. Leverage your collaboration strengths to influence product strategy and deliver helpful products to 1B+ global members.

• Utilize advanced prototyping tools and AI-driven workflows to simulate live content, build interactive concepts, and validate dynamic user flows in rapid experimentation loops.

• Apply a rigorous systems-thinking approach to ensure individual UI components integrate seamlessly into a cohesive, global product ecosystem. Drive clarity out of ambiguity and shepherd radical, divergent ideas from initial concept to launch.

• Craft visual, motion, and interaction patterns that set industry benchmarks. Ensure every experience adheres to world-class standards in localization, usability, safety, accessibility, and ethical AI.
