Senior Software Engineer II

Join Axon and be a Force for Good.

At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.

Your Impact

Across Real Time Operations (RTO), we are accelerating the adoption of the Axon Fusus product as the go-to real-time crime center platform. Our teams deliver scalable integrations with hundreds of partners to enable critical workflows for our customers. These integrations span incident management, drones, alarms, vehicle location, cameras, license plate readers, Record Management Systems (RMS), Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), and more.

As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will operate across all of the teams in this organization rather than inside a single squad. Your mandate is to find and drive the opportunities to simplify and streamline both our customer experiences and the way third party partners onboard to them. That means seeing the patterns that no individual team can see on its own, then turning them into shared frameworks, standards, and reusable building blocks that make every team faster.

You will work closely with software engineers, engineering managers, product managers, and designers to ensure the solutions we deliver are highly available and enable Professional Services teams to manage deployment and installation with minimal engineering support. You will partner directly with integration partners to understand the varying needs of new agencies we are launching, and you will lead the implementation of the cross-cutting work that raises the bar for everyone. Join us to work with a passionate, mission-driven group of folks who want to positively impact the lives of first responders and those they serve.
