Architectural Intern (Summer 2027)

We are actively seeking an Architectural Intern to join CRB. Join our firm for an internship journey where you’ll dive into real-world project work, learn from industry leaders and fully immerse yourself in the CRB employee experience. This program is more than just an internship—it's an opportunity to grow, innovate, and make a tangible impact on how we do business. You’ll have the chance to work hands-on with cutting-edge projects, collaborate with peers and industry leaders, and contribute your unique perspective to spark meaningful change.

At CRB, we believe that learning should be as dynamic as it is engaging, and that work can be both challenging and enjoyable. Join us to expand your horizons, build lasting relationships, and experience what it truly means to be part of a team that’s dedicated to innovation and excellence.

How will I contribute?

As an Architectural Intern, you will work under the direction of an assigned mentor to develop and implement project deliverables. As an Architectural Designer Intern, you will assist with 3D modeling and design, conducting field investigations, performing red-to-black markup/review tasks, and producing discipline deliverables such as floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, interior and exterior elevations and sections, schedules, and installation details in conformance with CRB’s VDC standards. Will work on a variety of architectural assignments, likely on more than one project simultaneously, and will be expected to work closely with architectural staff members to ensure assignments are completed accurately and efficiently.

Core Responsibilities

• Developing project documents (e.g., calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications, etc.) for clients in coordination with regulatory bodies and industry standards.

• Assisting with development of conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team under direction of the project team lead.

• Coordinating with other disciplines and other internal and external team members (e.g., vendors, clients, and contractors).
