ERP Engineer - Business Systems

Cerebras Systems builds the world's largest AI chip, 56 times larger than GPUs. This architecture allows Cerebras to deliver industry-leading training and inference speeds; over 10 times faster than GPU-based hyperscale cloud inference services.

This order of magnitude increase in speed is transforming the user experience of AI applications, unlocking real-time iteration and increasing intelligence via additional agentic computation.

Cerebras works with the leading model labs, global enterprises, and cutting-edge AI-native startups. OpenAI recently announced a multi-year partnership https://openai.com/index/cerebras-partnership/ with Cerebras, to deploy 750 megawatts of scale, transforming key workloads with ultra high-speed inference.

The ERP Engineer is a hands-on member of the Business Intelligence and Systems team responsible for designing, building and operating scalable ERP solutions for Cerebras. The role will translate complex Finance, Supply Chain, manufacturing, datacenter and enterprise requirements into reliable system capabilities, integrations and workflow automations.

This engineer will serve as a technical owner for connected ecosystem. The role combines solution architecture with direct configuration and development, on demand production support, and delivery through Scrum and Agile practices. Success requires strong technical judgment, business-process fluency, and the ability to move work from an ambiguous need to a secure, tested and supportable production solution.

What you will do

ERP solution architecture and engineering

- Design, configure, develop, test, deploy and support solutions that meet current business needs and scale with company growth.

- Build solutions using native configuration, workflows, custom records

- Produce solution designs that define process flows, data models, integrations, controls, environments, testing, deployment, monitoring and support requirements.

- Evaluate requests and select the simplest sustainable approach across native ERP capabilities, configuration, customization, integration, automation, or process change.

- Establish reusable technical patterns and reduce unnecessary customization, fragile dependencies, and long-term support burden.

Business process solutions

- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Data Center Operations and other teams to translate requirements into effective ERP solutions.

- Design and improve end-to-end processes including procure to pay, order to cash, record to report, inventory, receiving, fulfillment, warehouse transactions, returns and RMA, fixed assets and management reporting.

- Lead technical discovery, assess gaps and dependencies, and recommend options with clear effort, risk, data ownership, validation, reconciliation and support requirements.

- Design, build and support integrations between the ERP and adjacent platforms such as PLM, procurement, contracts, HR, expense, banking, CRM, data and warehouse systems.

- Create reusable integration services and automation patterns while maintaining clear systems of record and business ownership.

Scrum and Agile delivery

- Deliver work through a Scrum-based operating model, participating actively in backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, estimation, demonstrations and retrospectives.

- Work with business systems analysts and product owners to convert business needs into epics, user stories, technical tasks, acceptance criteria and a sequenced delivery plan.

- Break complex initiatives into testable increments and communicate scope, dependencies, risks, tradeoffs and delivery status clearly.

- Maintain a strong definition of done covering design approval, code review, testing, security and control validation, documentation, deployment readiness and operational handoff.

What we are looking for

- 8+ years of experience in ERP engineering, business systems, enterprise applications, integrations or related technical roles, with meaningful production ownership in complex environments.

- 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience, including solution design, configuration, customization, testing, deployment and support.

- Strong SuiteScript and JavaScript or TypeScript skills, with practical experience using SuiteTalk, REST and SOAP APIs, SuiteQL, saved searches and NetSuite security concepts.

- Demonstrated ability to design and build complete solutions rather than only administer applications or coordinate vendors.

- Hands-on experience with enterprise integration and automation platforms, API-based integrations, authentication, error handling, monitoring and production support.

- Strong understanding of Finance and Supply Chain processes, including procure to pay, order to cash, record to report and inventory management.

- Experience working in Scrum or Agile teams and translating requirements into appropriately sized stories, estimates, acceptance criteria, test plans and releases.

- Working knowledge of software engineering practices including version control, peer review, environment management, automated testing, CI/CD and observability.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business leaders, engineers, IT, Security, auditors and external partners.

- High ownership, sound judgment and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.

Nice to have

- Experience in semiconductor, hardware, manufacturing, supply-chain or other inventory-intensive environments.

- Experience integrating ERP platforms with PLM, WMS, 3PL, contract manufacturing, procurement, expense, HR, banking, CRM or enterprise data platforms.

- Experience with Python, cloud platforms and event-driven or serverless integration patterns.

- Experience operating in a public-company, IPO-readiness or SOX-regulated environment.

- NetSuite, integration-platform, Scrum or related professional certifications.
