Senior Customer Success Manager

ABOUT ALEMBIC

Alembic is the pioneering Causal AI platform. We help the world's largest enterprises move past correlation to prove what actually drives business outcomes, a question marketing and growth teams have never been able to answer with confidence. Fortune 100 companies including Nvidia, Delta Air Lines, and Mars use Alembic to make multimillion-dollar decisions on trusted, causal evidence.

We're backed by a $145M Series B from WndrCo (founded by Jeffrey Katzenberg), Jensen Huang, Joe Montana, Prysm Capital, and Accenture. Our models run on our own NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD built on Grace Blackwell infrastructure, one of the fastest private supercomputers in the world.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring a Senior Customer Success Manager in Chicago to own and grow one of our most strategic enterprise partnerships. Alembic started inside this customer's marketing organization. Your job is to take it further: build close working relationships with the CMO and the marketing leadership team, then help expand Alembic into new business units, functions, and use cases until it becomes an enterprise-wide decision tool.

This is a relationship and growth role. You'll be the day-to-day strategic lead for Alembic inside the account, a trusted partner to senior leaders who want to work closely with you, and the person who makes sure Alembic's impact is visible and credited across the organization.

You won't be doing this alone. You'll be paired with an Alembic Field Scientist, a forward-deployed data expert who owns the technical side: running models, validating and cleaning data, and building analyses. You own the relationship, the strategy, and the story. Together you make sure every insight lands with the right people.

The seat is in Chicago because the customer is here. Executive meetings, business reviews, and new stakeholder introductions go materially better in person, and you'll be close enough to do them that way.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Build strong working relationships with the marketing organization, the CMO and their direct reports, and teams across every level of the marketing team.

- Build and run an account plan that maps business units, decision makers, and priorities beyond marketing.

- Identify and develop opportunities to bring Alembic into new verticals and functions such as finance, product, operations, and strategy, partnering with Sales on commercial conversations.

- Keep Alembic visible. Make sure wins are quantified, credited, and shared internally by the customer, and turn successes into case studies, executive readouts, and internal champions.

- Lead executive business reviews that connect Alembic's causal insights to the customer's revenue, efficiency, and strategic goals.

- Partner with your Field Scientist to translate technical findings into clear, decision-ready recommendations for senior leaders.

- Stay ahead of risk. Read organizational changes, budget shifts, and competitive pressure early and act before they become problems.

- Be the customer's voice inside Alembic. Bring their priorities to Product and Engineering and help shape the roadmap toward enterprise use cases.

- Coordinate Alembic's internal teams (Sales, Product, Data Science, Field Science) so the customer sees one aligned partner.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED

CORE SKILLS

- 7 to 10+ years in strategic account management, enterprise customer success, or consulting at a B2B SaaS, data, analytics, or AI company.

- A track record of growing an enterprise relationship across business units, with named references you're proud of.

- Experience working directly with senior executives. You're prepared, credible, and comfortable offering a point of view.

- Strong business judgment. You can spot where Alembic can help, frame the value, and bring the right people together to act on it.

- Enough analytical fluency to explain causal AI, measurement, and data concepts clearly to non-technical leaders.

- Excellent written and verbal communication, from executive-ready narratives to day-to-day working sessions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Background in marketing measurement, analytics, martech, or management consulting.

- Experience expanding a platform from one function into an enterprise-wide deployment.

- Familiarity with enterprise procurement, security review, and data governance.

- Experience at a startup or high-growth company where you built the playbook rather than inherited it.

- An existing network in the Chicago enterprise community.

GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES

- Learn from the best: Work closely and consistently with one of the most senior and talented marketing leadership teams in the Fortune 100.

- Strategic account leadership: Help define how Alembic runs and grows its most important enterprise partnerships.

- Cross-functional influence: Shape the product roadmap as Alembic moves from a marketing tool to an enterprise platform.

- Scope that scales: As the partnership grows, so does your role.

THE ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:

- You get real satisfaction from turning one executive sponsor into many, and one use case into a company-wide standard.

- You want to learn by working alongside senior leaders, not from a distance.

- You'd rather be the strategic partner in the room than the person managing tickets.

WHY YOU MIGHT BE EXCITED ABOUT ALEMBIC

- You own the partnership: You'll be the strategic lead for Alembic in one of our most important accounts, with real say in where it goes next.

- Elite customers, real stakes: You'll work directly with a Fortune 100 CMO and the marketing leadership team on multimillion-dollar decisions.

- A technical partner at your side: A dedicated Field Scientist handles the models and data, so you can focus on relationships and strategy.

- Build the model: How you grow this account becomes the blueprint for every strategic account after it.

- A product worth expanding: Causal AI on our own NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD, doing something no attribution model has done before. There's real appetite for it well beyond marketing.

- Series B momentum, real ownership: Meaningful equity at a Series B company that's raised $145M, with proven product-market fit and enterprise traction.

WHY YOU MIGHT NOT BE EXCITED

- This is a single-account, deep-partnership role. If you want to manage a large book of accounts, this isn't that role.

- Senior stakeholders are demanding and the organization is complex. You'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity and high visibility.

- You want a fully remote role. The in-person time with the customer is deliberate.
