Linehaul Vessel Pilot

• Proven leadership abilities

• Safety of the crew, vessel, environment and towing operations through use of Ingram’s safety systems, policies and the “rules of the road”

• Supervision of the Mate and Deckhands in consultation with the Captain and Operations/HR

• Vessel compliance with USCG and environmental laws and regulations

• Assisting with performance evaluations of crew members

• Delegating vessel responsibilities, duties, and tasks considering crew members experience and abilities

• Assisting with safety meetings and drills

• Basic critical thinking and decision making skills

• Assisting with administrative duties

• Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization

• Performing other job duties as assigned
