Copywriter, Analyst

Reporting to Accordion’s Content Manager, the Copywriter will be a central storytelling voice within the marketing organization — responsible for shaping how the firm shows up across brand touchpoints, thought leadership, and executive channels. This role is for a strong, versatile writer who can move fluidly between long-form thought leadership and the commercial materials that support it, translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.

You will work closely with senior leadership, subject matter experts, and the broader marketing team to develop content that supports growth, positions Accordion as a thought leader, and ensures our brand voice is consistent and effective across every written touchpoint.

This position must be based in our NYC office location and is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.

This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

What You’ll Do:

• Writing across brand touchpoints, including website copy, sales decks, one-sheeters, and other key marketing collateral

• Thought leadership writing and development, translating materials into multiple derivative outputs

• Creation of commercial materials to support the broader thought leadership ecosystem

• Alliance marketing with external tech partners

• AI and technology marketing

• Internal communications

• Social media support

• Executive LinkedIn program

You Have:

• 2-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related writing-intensive role

• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a demonstrated ability to adapt tone and format across audiences and channels

• Experience developing thought leadership content and translating content into multiple derivative formats (articles, social posts, decks, one-sheeters, etc.)

• Comfort with writing about AI and technology, as well as financial or consulting topics — or a strong aptitude to learn unfamiliar subject matter quickly

• Ability to work directly with senior executives and subject matter experts to shape voice, messaging, and positioning firmwide

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple writing workstreams and deadlines simultaneously

• Experience using AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to scale work (depth and speed), without creating AI slop

• Ability to be a true partner to every member of the marketing team

• Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented

• Growth mindset: hungry to "learn and do" in a fast-paced, high-growth organization

You Are:

• Excited to be part of a growing team, with a focus on driving future growth

• Passionate about delivering exceptional client service

• Knowledgeable about the relationship between Private Equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, particularly within the office of the CFO

• Willing to get your hands dirty in the details of a project while simultaneously seeing the whole picture

• Comfortable managing projects with multiple complex workstreams while also focused on your single workstream (you are managing and doing)

• A self-starter with a strong work ethic

• Full of entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable in a fluid, flat organization

• Able to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions, and raise issues to senior team members when necessary

• A team player, able to work with team members across all levels

• Someone who enjoys mentoring others and doing meaningful work

• A leader of others; you lead by example

The annual salary for this role ranges from: $70,000 to $90,000 + benefits + bonus + overtime eligible.

Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.

THIS POSTING IS FOR A CURRENT VACANCY AND THE EMPLOYER INTENDS TO FILL THIS POSITION BY December 3, 2026.
