Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Work Schedule: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm - Monday - Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

This position supports the business by providing great individual service to the structural welding department, helping to build frames for our customer's buildings.

• Joins, Fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques

• Interprets Blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process

• Receives job duties from the production lead/supervisor

• Follow work procedures and tool and material requirements

• Select and set up welding equipment

• Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded

• Fabricate metal building and metal roofing components

• Use a rod or wire and heat to join metals

• Use a plasma torch, grinding wheel, band saw or other instrument for cutting metal

• Ensure welds meet standards and specifications

• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion

• Other jobs/duties as directed
