ESL Teacher

In order to achieve our mission, Aurora teachers will:

• Align all teaching to our standards based curriculum.

• Inform all instructional decisions by using data as a classroom-planning tool.

• Submit weekly lesson plans for review.

• Participate in high frequency coaching.

• Follow all professional norms.

• Do whatever it takes to achieve the mission of Aurora Collegiate Academy.

As an ESL teacher, you will:

- lead small groups of students in  literacy intervention curriculum with ESL modifications called Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI).  This curriculum encompasses all aspects of literacy instruction including phonics, site words, comprehension, and writing.
