A Day in the Life 

• The Unit Assistant is responsible for direct and indirect service rendered to patients and families under the supervision of Registered Nurse (RN). This may include unit clerk clerical tasks, preparing or transporting sterile supplies or work areas, inventory and restocking of unit supplies and equipment, as well as miscellaneous housekeeping and department cleaning.
