The Associate, Operations - Teaching & Learning plays a vital role in advancing our educational mission by supporting critical components of our academic operations including communication, assessments, and event execution. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day logistics that empower our educators and staff to focus on delivering high-quality instruction. Your impact will be felt across the organization as you support the communication of key information to school leaders, coordinate event materials, and support essential assessment operations. Partnering closely with content leads, facilitators, and school-based staff, you will help create productive, organized environments for learning and collaboration. Ultimately, your operational support ensures our Teaching & Learning team functions efficiently to serve our students and communities. 
Responsibilities
Event & Logistics Operations
 
• Manage the day-to-day logistics for professional development sessions, team meetings, and working groups of up to 50 attendees.
• Execute all operational phases of event planning, including scheduling, virtual platform or venue setup, and day-of coordination.
• Provide dedicated day-of support and logistical coordination for larger-scale team and school-based retreats, assisting with seating, materials, and food alongside your manager or director.
• Coordinate scheduling, basic on-site logistics, video footage capture and organization, and invoicing for instructional and professional development filming as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
• Partner with content leads, facilitators, and school staff to confirm event agendas, materials, and logistical requirements in advance of each event.
• Manage the team's shared support inbox by triaging inquiries, answering routine questions, and routing complex requests to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain the team calendar with guidance from your manager, scheduling cross-departmental meetings and coordinating timing for priority initiatives.
• Identify and flag potential logistical risks or roadblocks, escalating complex stakeholder issues to team leadership when necessary.
Data, Assessment & Process Management
• Review and quality-check educational assessments for setup errors, basic grammar, and mechanics, escalating unclear items for guidance.
• Create assessments within our aligned assessment platform, ensuring they are set up accurately and completed on schedule.
• Develop and maintain simple documentation and organized tracking systems for event planning, inbox management, and assessment entry to ensure consistent operations.
• Utilize strong time and task management systems to consistently meet deadlines across events, inbox requests, and assessment operations.
