Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Management Information Systems (MIS)

The Department of Business Administration and Economics at Augsburg University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Management Information Systems, beginning August 2027. The appointment will be at the Assistant Professor level. For full consideration, applications should be received by November 1, 2026. Candidates who have demonstrated success in teaching and serving students from diverse communities are especially urged to apply. 

The successful candidate will have opportunities to teach courses in MIS, including MIS Management, MIS Operations, Enterprise Data Management, project management and statistics. Experience with Python, SQL, R, Data Visualization and SAP is preferred. The standard course load is six courses per year. 

Faculty members are expected to provide engaging undergraduate instruction, maintain regular office hours, advise and mentor students, supervise undergraduate research and capstone projects, participate in curriculum development and assessment, and contribute to departmental and university service.
