The Department of Business Administration and Economics at Augsburg University invites applications for an open rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) tenure-track faculty position in Management, beginning August 2027. Experience with international business and entrepreneurship is preferred. Appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level will be based on the successful candidate's qualifications, experience, and record of achievement. For full consideration, applications should be received by November 1, 2026. Candidates who have demonstrated success in teaching and serving students from diverse communities are especially urged to apply. 
The successful candidate will have opportunities to teach courses in management, including Principles of Management, International Management, Human Resources, Business Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The standard course load is six courses per year. 
Faculty members are expected to provide engaging undergraduate instruction, maintain regular office hours, advise and mentor students, supervise undergraduate research and capstone projects, participate in curriculum development and assessment, and contribute to departmental and university service.
The Department values faculty who integrate real-world applications, undergraduate research, experiential learning, and community engagement into the study of their discipline. Successful candidates should demonstrate a commitment to creating engaging learning experiences that prepare students for graduate study, professional careers, and civic leadership.
Faculty are expected to maintain an active program of scholarship appropriate to their rank.
