McWane Ductile-New Jersey Manufacturing Plant Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright-Night Shift

​​​​​​Maintenance Millwright coordinates, participates, assists, constructs, fabricates, installs, repairs and maintains production and operational equipment that includes machines with hydraulic and pneumatic controls as required for the efficient operation and process of producing ductile iron pipe.

Pay Rate between $32.04 to $39.43

All rates are in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)

A Maintenance Millwrights' responsibilities include the following:

• Ability to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems malfunctions.

• Understanding of the correct handling and use of mechanical repair tools and equipment.

• Make repairs and rebuilds all equipment throughout the plant

• Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

• Dismantles machines

• Moves machinery and equipment

• Assembles and installs equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and rails

• Constructs foundation for machines

• Aligns machines and equipment

• Assembles machines, and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures
