A Day in the Life 

• Be part of the only dedicated stroke unit in northern Michigan, a 29-bed private room unit specializing in the care of patients with neurologic deficits. 

• As part of a Comprehensive Stroke Center (CSC) designation, we care for a wide range of complex neurological conditions, including:• Ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes

• Seizure disorders 

• Headaches and mood disorders

• Rare and complex neurologic syndromes

• Post-operative neurosurgical care (e.g., thrombectomies, TNK, craniotomies, VP shunts)
