Engineer Maintenance-2

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Engineer Maintenance-2 to join our team in Opelousas, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our industrial equipment and systems to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime. As an Engineer Maintenance-2, you will work alongside our maintenance team to implement preventive maintenance strategies, respond to equipment failures, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools; implement timely repairs to minimize production downtime

• Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules, work orders, and technical documentation using maintenance management software

• Conduct routine inspections and equipment assessments to identify potential issues before they escalate

• Collaborate with production teams and other maintenance engineers to prioritize maintenance activities and resolve operational challenges

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, utilizing problem-solving skills and industry best practices

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment performance metrics

• Adhere to all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies to ensure a secure work environment

• Participate in training and professional development to stay current with maintenance technologies and industry standards

• Support the implementation of predictive maintenance techniques and equipment lifecycle management strategies

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and provide on-call support as needed
