Ink Maker

This role offers a starting range of $21 to $24 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

If you are looking to start a new career with a stable company that grows its leaders from within, then INX International is the right place for you. The person in this role will tend mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind the raw materials for manufacturing of high-quality printing ink. As an Ink Maker, you will be responsible for:

• Following batch instructions to weight batches, charge and mix inks

• Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials

• Monitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjusting as needed

• Following procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates

• Following procedures to filter, package and label inks

• Making QC adjustments as instructed

• Weighting quantities of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of high quality printing ink

• Operating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials for the manufacturing of high quality printing ink

• Packaging the finished product

• Operating a forklift
