The Admin on Special Assignment reports to either a school leader or a member of the Lead Learning Team and drives the continuity of instructional excellence by implementing cohesive coaching cycles for core instructional staff, thereby ensuring no drop in instructional quality during site-level capacity gaps (vacancies and/or leaves). This role develops and coaches staff on curriculum, internalization, and planning, ensuring fidelity to school expectations. The AOSA leads direct coaching and school culture support to advance teacher practice and align support with individual teacher coaching plans. To maximize impact, the AOSA aligns onsite support schedules with the school’s Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) cadence to ensure seamless integration and strategic coordination. The AOSA manages the additional instructional support for up to two schools concurrently for specified periods of time, establishing instructional and cultural stability and continuity during transitions.
